The collaboration will allow Motability Scheme EV drivers to find a location on Osprey’s GB-wide rapid charging network, charge, and pay through the Motability Go Charge App before reviewing the location for accessibility. This seamless charging and billing, combined with the visibility of reviews from peers on the App, will help to improve Motability Scheme drivers’ confidence in choosing and using public charging.
Hub is the latest location built with long-term partner Marston’s, and therefore part of one of the largest EV charging networks in the hospitality sector. Osprey has installed and now operate rapid charge points at over 150 Marston’s locations.
Salmon’s Leap is Osprey’s first land acquisition. The car park has been re-designed specifically for EV charging: there are two extra-long bays for towing vehicles, extra-wide bays for full disabled access, and all bays are laid out in Osprey’s unique format that optimises space and charger ease-of-use, so that the hub accommodates all types of vehicle and driver.
