During The Vauxhall Event, which runs from 14-29 February, customers purchasing a Mokka Electric Design 136PS on finance can benefit from a Vauxhall deposit contribution of £9,500. PCP payments of £349 per month can be spread over a longer period thanks to Vauxhall’s five-year PCP.
Tesco holds 2,700 charging bays across 619 Tesco stores nationwide making it the country’s largest supermarket charging network, with a mix of 7kW, 22kW, 50kW and 75kW charging stations. While the charge points are accessible for all EV drivers, new Vauxhall retail customers who purchase an electric Vauxhall car or van direct from a Vauxhall retailer will be able to benefit from one year’s worth of free charging credit when visiting Tesco.
New Mokka Electric Long Range is powered by a new, more efficient and quieter 115kW (156hp) electric motor producing 260Nm of torque. The next-generation 54kWh (gross) lithium-ion battery is comprised of 102 cells in 17 modules and features a liquid cooling system. A heat pump and a focus on efficiency helps the Mokka Electric Long Range to achieve 4.0-4.1 miles per kWh (WLTP Combined Low-High), resulting in a range of up to 252 miles (WLTP).
Vauxhall’s entry-level Design trim is now available across its latest electric passenger car models. This new entry point makes Vauxhall’s electric range more accessible to consumers looking to start their electric journey, whilst continuing to deliver a high level of specification, with features such as automatic LED headlights, parking sensors and cruise control included as standard.
The new UK Government statistics, published quarterly by the Department for Transport (DfT), show that the total number of on-street chargers across the UK has increased by more than two thirds from 1st October 2022 to 1st October 2023, and has jumped by more than a quarter (27.57%) in the last three months alone.

Working with leading charging operators char.gy, Connected Kerb and SureCharge, Vauxhall has set up an ‘Enablement Fund’ to help councils understand the scale of on-street charging issues, and the solutions available, ahead of the Government’s planned ban on the sale of new combustion engined cars in 2030.
The release of the guide comes as Vauxhall research reveals that almost 90% of UK drivers think a lack of guidance on how to use public EV chargers puts drivers off making the switch over to electrification, whilst 77% told Vauxhall they are unclear on etiquette relating to EV ownership.
Vauxhall’s growing electrified range already features five fully-electric passenger car models, including Corsa Electric, Mokka Electric, Combo Life Electric and Vivaro Life Electric. These vehicles have recently been joined by Astra Electric, which is available to order now, and will be joined by the Astra Sports Tourer Electric later this year. This will be followed in 2024 by the all-electric successors to the Crossland and Grandland, completing the fully-electric offering for the brand.
